The University Electoral Assembly has elected Prof. Maximiliane Wilkesmann as the new Vice-President of TU Dortmund University. Starting September 1, 2026, she will be responsible for the newly established Office of International Affairs and Diversity.

The University Electoral Assembly has elected Prof. Maximiliane Wilkesmann as one of TU Dortmund University's four Vice-Presidents. Taking office on 1 September 2026, she will be responsible for the newly structured Diversity and International Affairs portfolio, combining both areas for the first time.

Her election marks a reorganization of the TU Dortmund University Rectorate. In addition to Prof. Maximiliane Wilkesmann, Prof. Sabine Hornberg was newly elected and Prof. Gerhard Schembecker was re-elected.
