EGOS Colloqium 2026

We will be presenting an accepted paper at the 42nd EGOS Colloquium 2026, hosted by the University of Bergamo in Italy. We are delighted that our short paper has been accepted:
“The Invisible Workmate: How LLMs Reconfigure Academic Work in More-than-Human Constellations”
The paper was submitted and accepted under the sub-theme “Human-Centered Future of Work in More-than-Human Society through Responsible Use of Exponential Technologies in Organizations.” This thematic area explores how exponential technologies (such as generative AI, intelligent robots, or metaverse applications) are profoundly transforming work and organizations, and how a human-centered, responsible approach to these technologies can be shaped.
With the paper “The Invisible Workmate,” we contribute to this debate by examining how Large Language Models (LLMs) are reconfiguring academic work and what opportunities and tensions this gives rise to in more-than-human work constellations.
